Now that swipe-up-to-capitalize has been restored, this keyboard again works great for me. Recommend
Best app out there for swiping, and I'm a semi-professional writer. Changed my rating because they reintroduced swiping up to get Capital Letters. Such a useful tool! Flawless
Capitalisation solved and now problem with emojis, the recent emojis, update as soon as I press which is irritating, pls solve it as soon as possible Must have
I'm very pleased. I'm just writing this review because I have personally witnessed the rating of this app drop 0.4 in the last few months and it seems that the issues that were causing the app to be less that it had been are resolved. Swipe to capitalize has been restored and you can see secondary characters even when the number bar is displayed. Also, regarding the app's guessing, I've only had to correct 2 words in this entire review and they were both very reasonable errors: had to has and apps to app's Enjoy it!
Many recent improvements have returned this app to the top of my favorites list, but the new behavior of the recent emojis list is driving me crazy. Bumping emojis to the front of that list immediately when you touch them is completely inefficient and at times maddening. Please return it to only bumping them up after leaving the recent emojis screen. Thank you! Well done!!
As a keyboard it is really good. However voice recognition is poor and their refusal to allow users who paid for the app to use Google voice recognition instead of Dragon is disgusting and hence its unpopularity. Google voice is way more accurate and faster. As we have paid for the app I think it's fair we have a choice to decide on the voice recognition attached to the appwith a setting or just ditch Dragon full stop. Just wow
I hate to be one of those "why did it get worse" people, but... It got worse with the 3.0 update. In general it's mispredicting my Swypes much more. I have no idea why they'd remove the "Swype up to capitalize" feature, nor the feature where Swyping from j to h gives you a smiley. Great, people like emojis. They can have them taking up screen space 24/7 now if they want. I don't want it, but I can turn it off, which is nice. But it seems like this decision seeped into a bunch of other design choices which make the keyboard worse for a lot of folks who've been loving it for years. Not bad
In Messaging app if you tap built-in emoji icon, it doesn't open emoji drawer unless keyboard is open. If keyboard is closed, Swype screen pops up asking to select keyboard. Fix please. No reason to open keyboard just to send emoji in reply. Other suggestions - make the secondary keyboard and number row available in smaller than 100% keyboard size and on ALL themes. 5 star
EDIT: Thank you for bringing back swipe along the top of the keyboard for capitalization. +1 to the rating. One thing that I would like is the ability to control the cursor by swiping along the space bar. Other than that, the gestures for punctuation are phenomenal! Please ditch Dragon. Works great
Good luck turning off auto-correct. I have the paid version, and even with the autocorrect unchecked, I still find myself sending messages that are woefully different from what I intended. Works perfectly
They finally fixed the gesture feature for making upper case characters mid Swype. Back to 5 stars. The space bar is too short when you have the microphone button though. 5 star
Needs a delete key (that deletes to the right of the cursor). Also, I often write several characters not on the main display, that take too long: " ' - wow lol
Latest update is definitely an evolutionary improvement. However in Chinese keyboard mode, the continuous Swype on keyboard still is broken (I use the latest Chinese language pack). Before I could swipe "tamen" and it would nicely come up with 他们。 Now have to type the Pinyin in full or just "tm". Hope this glitch gets fixed in the next update for convenience! Works perfectly
Don't seem to be able to remember my email address in the dictionary as it used to. Was a great feature seems to have been lost in recent updates Fantastic
Like Swype way better than Gboard or SwiftKey. Suggestions work better, love how backspace deletes the whole word, and love the gestures available with the Swype key. Worth it!

I have been a loyal user for as long as I've had an android... but with every phone it behaves differently :/ the paid version is not as accurate as the versions that came with my previous phones... plus, I want that stupid emoji icon to die in a fire... how do I get rid of it permanently? Perfect
Every time I see somebody chicken-pecking a text message on their phone, I am compelled to ask if they know about Swype! I even demonstrate with an example, while speaking the words as I Swype out "texting is just this easy and faster with Swype". TRUE STORY Superb!
Swype has improved since I last used ot and so far I like it. My only gripe would be the fact the emoji's are sort of outdated to today's standards and no GIF support. Brilliant
I love it for the fact that it makes a backup of my words online, the handy numerical keyboard with arrows and other handy features like copy/paste and hide keyboard. I'm happy there's finally a key-less theme that still features the extra shift-characters. Which annoys me lately is that the swipe-from-swipe-symbol to a function and long-press not always work correctly. For example I long-press 'r' and I still get 'r' instead of 4; I swype to hide the keyboard and instead it performs a 'paste'. Selecting text also doesn't work from time to time. It would be nice to have this fixed... Go well
