Received my 2 sets of Monument on 12/12 but waited till 4 Jan 2017 to install and run. Limited functions, but hardware is Good, just have to wait for the face recognition AI firmware, Android App and Win pc software to catch up. Works in backing up images and detecting Duplicates images. But will still keep my backups till Monument firmware and app is firm up. Suspect that with every firmware update, may need to"reinstall or reset" Monument. To avoid errors. 22 Jan 2017 How does Monument spot and treats duplicate images? Thumbnails does not match the images when tapped to enlarge view. 3 Feb 2017 Analysing about 50 images per day since 26 Feb nonstop. HDD working throughout. Still got 9.5k images to go! Hope New installed firmware Quickens the image file Analysis! Amazing!
UPDATE - Whoa! Since the update, there's no PIN for location on the map anymore - just shows the general area. Really?! I really like this product. I have had no problem with the tracking and locating my keys with the app. Before people bag the product, they need to first look at how GPS technology works and it's limitations. GPS is a one way street. It is a satellite signal picked up by your mobile phone, a TrackR, or any other GPS device. The GPS can only tell you your location at that point and time, so for example. if you want to track your history, you'll need to add storage to record the data. If you want to navigate streets, you'll need a processor, a display and street data. If you want to view the GPS information on any other device, you'll need a way to deliver the data off it. Mobile phones send GPS information via mobile data or Wi-Fi, technology that, if implemented, would make TrackR devices expensive, bulky, and redundant compared to other devices in the market. TrackR uses Bluetooth.What TrackR provides is an elegant, alternative solution on a budget. Go well
This is a cute game, but it is very slow. I play other game like this and by day 2 I would be a level 10 at least, I am at level 3 and I am on day 2 now. It is a lot like another game I have played (fish tycoon) but with levels. Perfect!
